For campers who also enjoy the Arts, Swallowdale Camp offers a variety of activities to stimulate the mind, as well as the body. Nature is the inspiration as students learn arts, crafts, woodworking or dance.

ARTS AND CRAFTS Creativity runs wild in the arts and crafts room at Swallowdale Camp. From paper maché and painting, to tie-dying and beadwork, the arts programme allows each camper to use their imagination, allowing nature to be their guide   DANCE Campers have an opportunity to learn the basic steps to a wide assortment of dances, including Hip-Hop, Salsa, and Jazz Ballet. Enthusiastic instructors help campers to improve their balance and coordination, while giving them a renewed sense of confidence.   WOODWORKING Start with a simple, boring piece of wood and end up with a creative, personally designed masterpiece! Our woodworking programme teaches students of all ages how to use basic hand tools, while following proper procedures and safety precautions. Our skilled instructors guide campers in their completion of various projects including: treasure boxes, pencil holders, CD containers, and carvings.
