Welcome to Swallowdale Camp!

I am very excited about the upcoming summer, and returning to Swallowdale in my new role as a Director. Over the last three summers I have had the opportunity to work at Swallowdale in a variety of positions and cannot imagine a better place to spend my summers.

During the past year I have completed my Bachelor of Education at the University of Windsor. Previously, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University. I have been working at summer camps since 2003 and can’t imagine spending a summer in any other environment. Working with children and tapping into their boundless energy , the opportunity to provide campers with a positive and memorable camp experience are the things that make summer camps special. I am looking forward to meeting new campers and seeing returning campers from all over the world.
 

While camp is for the campers, it is the staff that creates the experience. I cannot wait to meet and welcome new staff, and to reunite with returning staff. Our goal is to provide a positive and memorable experience. Swallowdale provides the perfect setting.
 

Together we will share in making memories and creating a bond that some like to refer to as “the camp family”. I look forward to seeing and meeting you all.
